About Mateusz Pożar
Clever and empathetic UX researcher & designer with a unique background and unwavering curiosity.
Background
Originally from Poland, I've lived most of my life in Sweden. My journey started with a Bachelor's in Photography, followed by a Master in Contemporary Digital Art from Gothenburg University. For 8 years, I worked as a project manager while maintaining my art practice and freelancing for such clients as KTH, Chalmers, Gothenburg Film Festival, among others.
UX Journey
In 2024, I completed a 2-year vocational UX Design degree from IT-Högskolan, with internships at RISE and Bright Skills. My unique combination of art, project management, and UX research gives me a distinct perspective on user-centered design.
Other Projects
- Matepo Research AB - Usabilty research and workshop facilitation
- Hintlab.org - Research and design experiments platform
- Monocultured.com - Documentation of personal and commisioned art work
Philosophy
I believe in asking "why" before "how." Understanding the root cause of a problem is more valuable than jumping to solutions. My background in art and photography taught me to observe carefully, while project management taught me to deliver results. UX research brings these together.
