I’m originally from Poland although I’ve lived most of my life in Sweden. After stints in Reykjavik and London, I moved to Gothenburg 2002 for a bachelor in photography and then an MFA in contemporary digital art. In 2022 I changed path to UX after having worked eight years as a project manager in addition to running an art practice and freelancing as a photographer & teacher. In 2024 I graduated from a two year UX Design course at IT-Högskolan, during which I’ve interned at RISE and Bright Skills, with some freelance gigs on the side.

I started Hintlab in order to feel less lonely by doing interesting things with interesting people. The goal is to find collaborators for research and design experiments, but also to offer a platform for those who’d like to explore without the pressure of commercial work – although we take on comissions as well.
I’ve used this domain for different projects over the years, but the most consistent is the personal blog that’s available at monocultured.com/blog. Currently I’m remodelling the main page into a portfolio of works that don’t fit into the UX or Hintlab territory.
